With the class from IPExpert, you get a student handbook, which is very well done, covering the topics in the class for the LAB, and yours to keep for review. The labs that are given during the class are not the same labs in the IPExpert workbook. These labs were done expressly for this class. The labs given during the class will make you think, and put you over the top for obtaining your CCIE. There is about 5-7 hours of class lecture time per day, covering topics in extensive detail, not including the 5th day.
You get a lab assigned to you each day after the class intruction is complete, that must be completed during that day. Each day was about 14 - 15 hours long, but that also depends on your ability. You may get through things quicker than others or not. The fifth day is a full-blown CCIE mock lab, this day is treated just as if you are in the real lab, with Scott being the proctor for the mock lab. I think you can still obtain a sample lab from IPExpert for lab 1 and lab 40 of the workbook from IPExpert.net
