Seems to be a VLSM problem, if you are using RIPv1. With RIPv2, I think
it should be work.

Subject: Redistribution of directly connected networks
Hi,
Now I'm a little bit confused. Assume this:
OSPF----(E0)[R1](E1)---OSPF----(E1)[R2](E0)----RIP-----[R3]
If I redistribute on R2 from OSPF to RIP I didn't see the directly
connected Network of R2(E1). When I take the same example with OSPF and
EIGRP it works. Did I have to redistribute the connected Networks from
RIP manually into RIP? Did I only have to do this in RIP? I know if I
redistribute from ISIS to OSPF etc I have to redistribute the directly
connected networks into OSPF. Can someone help me how I handle with the
directly connected networks?
