Thanks to everyone for their suggestions. I've sometimes found that the clear frame inv doesn't work reliably in the lab or on my practice kit. I think a reboot strategy will be the one to go for next time!

        This only works if it is not an error in InARP. If you issue a
"show frame-relay map" and you have mappings that point to 0.0.0.0, it
is an error in inverse-arp. This error occurs when inverse-arp is in
the process of resolving a remote device, and is then disabled. In
order to resolve this case you must reboot. If the problem is that
there are unwanted dynamic unicast mappings then you can just issue the
"clear frame inarp" command and it will remove them.

        BTW reloading your devices is highly recommended, as it may
expose holes in your network that were not evident until the reload
occurs.
