Subject: Data Voice VLAN
Interface FastEthernet0/3
switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q
switchport mode trunk
switchport access vlan 1 -----------------------Default
switchport voice vlan 31
no ip address
mls qos trust cos
spanning-tree portfast
The spanning-tree port-fast command enabled automatically, I beleive because
of the voice vlan configuration. What I like to know if it is necessary to
configure "Spanning-tree bpduguard" command to put the port in err-disable
mode if someone connects a switch to the other end instead of the host. I
have done that for Data only configuration, but do I need to do that where
both voice/data vlans are configured on the same port, and PC will be
connected to the IP Phone. Please advise.
Can someone help configuring the same commands with CAT-OS as it doesn't
have
a such command "Switchport voice vlan x" instead it requires "Auxilary Port"
command. I did search on CCO, but I am not very clear about it.
Regards,
Richard
