Subject: A new CCIE in Seattle!!!!!

Hello All,

Its been a short while since my 4am stroll to check email. With my head
spinning, the lab results status came down to one simple word, 'Pass".
I now have CCIE# 13261.

I've been one of the silent ones here on GroupStudy. This is not to say
that I do appreciate it. In fact, the opposite is very true. GroupStudy
aided me in many ways. Having the opportunity to examine and figure out
posted questions is still valuable. Knowing that there are others who
were also climbing to the same goal gave me encouragement. To those who
are still working on it, the best thing I can see is to keep at it. Then
keep at it some more. Do not give up.

My personal learning experience has been telling and character building.
The CCIE is not the end destination for me. After the summer (wife
imposed moratorium) I'll be back at it. I've already purchased a couple
CCIE materials focused on security. I'll bet this would be no surprise
to my wife.

My list of folks to thank is long. First, I have to thank my wife
Theresa and my daughter Stephanie. Theresa and my 3 year old put up with
me studying every weekend and evening for months. GroupStudy for the
ongoing support, even if that simply meant knowing there are others in
the same boat with similar questions. Bill Lijewski at Network Learning
for being a patient and skilled instructor. I highly recommend Bill's
class to anybody considering taking one. I used the practice labs from
Network Learning and found them to be an excellent resource along with
all the standard Cisco press materials.

For now, its time to spend some quality time with my family, read some
fiction and play (and yes I mean play) outside.

Thanks!

-Jason
