Subject: VOIP num-exp - DOC CD.
Hi all,
I am confused regarding the config. of the num-exp and translation rule used
with viop peers. I thought that while configuring both, the destination
pattern will be the translated number. I found that for num-exp (in the DOC
CD) that the number used as the destination is the dialed number. Is it wrong
example ???
num-exp 2123 5556611
dial peer voice 1 pots
destination pattern 2123
In this example, every time the device receives a call for extension 2123,
the dialed digits will be replaced with 555-6611 and the call will be
forwarded to that telephone.
Thanks for any clarification,
Karim.
