Hi all,
Last Friday the 18th I passed the CCIE exam at RTP. This was my fifth try.
It has been a journey of 2,5-3 years with studying and practice. For
studying I have been reading Jeff Doyle, Carl Solie, and more. I have also
read the books for CCNA and CCNP. And of course lot of reading at the CCO
univer information. For workbooks I have used IPExpert and Internetwork
Expert. Specially the solution guide for the Internetwork Expert has been
helpful.
Even if I'm living in Oslo Norway I decided for this try to go to
CyscoExpert in Chicago for intensive training and thereafter go to RTP for
the exam. I'm so happy for my decision. The CyscoExpert people really
helped me get well prepared for the exam. They stressed me with intensive
lab training for 80 hours. The one-on-one instruction between the student
and the instructors area unique. Thank you Naren, Bahrim, Bacho, Peter and
Tom.
I also have to mention that the proctor at RTP was a very nice person.
Because of some problem with the shuttle I show up at the test center 10
min. late. Even though, the proctor stood smiling and waiting for me. I
really felt I was welcome.
And finally I will say thank you to the person that make the Groupstudy
possible. This list has been very helpful to me. And of course thank you
to the people that put information into this list by questions and answers.
To all that are fighting with the CCIE stuff and do not get the number first
time. Don't give up. With hard work you will reach the goal.
But now it is summertime where I'm going to put the family in center.
Thank you.
