All:
I need some help/wisdom. My company has given me a task to
build/design a lab within our dept to help my fellow employees.
Now my delimina is that they would like to setup IP PHONES in the lab.
Upon my research (rookie) I need Cisco Call Manager and Windows 2000 Server.
Is there a way to do this in a lab enivironment cheap. Our
budget for the lab is VERY small. I have read a post
on VMWARE but I am not sure how to link Windows 2000 server to it.
Or is there a way to do this without Windows 2000 server. Ideally, I
would like to turn a PC (windows XP) into a server and have Cisco Call mgr on it.
I need alot of help/suggestions on this. So far I have come up with
putting the phones off a Cat 5000 and putting them in separate VLANS.
Now I need help on running Cisco Call mgr as cheap as possible.
Anyone have any ways to do this.
