I think the commands you need are :

encap aal5mux
protocol ppp virtual-template 55

During a drill on a rack with IOS 12.2(11)T9 (4700 router )
I can not get this command to excecute
Router(config-if-atm-vc)# encapsulation aal5mux ppp virtual-template 55
The IOS do not support this command at all .
Have anyone able to ?
