Yes in R4 I could see ALL others loopback, but was not able to ping outside
the directly connected router.

The other questions I seen were what type of interface/areas did I make ISIS.

I hardcoded everything to be level-2-only, at the process level, and the
interface level. I then redistributed
only level-2 stuff into my other IGPs.

One thing I did not try, was to use level1 only, or level-1-2 and ping
around the network with that.

I will lab it up again tonite and paste configs. I had replicated this
problem easily before, so doing so again will be no problem.
