My personal preference is the Merge which you can pick up used for $500.
It includes a nice protocol analyzer and includes both S/T and U
interfaces as well as several ISDN types.

Subject: Yet another question about ISDN simulator

Hi List,

I'm looking for ISDN simulator and have a question
about it. There are number of simple ones Vconsole,
Astricom both for $600 and number of more expesive
ones for $2k and more - Teltone, emutel, Merge.
Cheap ones support 2 ISDN types - NAtional and European,
expensive ones support more types. Can someone
explain me other differences between them? There are
also different class of products like Adtran Atlas
which already named not "simulator" but "WAN switch"
what's the difference?
