Run ospf on all the interface.
ip pim sparse-mode under lo0 of R1 and R2, bri0 on R1
and R1, s1 on R2 and R3.
And
lo0 of R1 is rp.
lo0 of R2 is MA.
I thought auto-rp only work with sparse-dense-mode,
but in my config, if I config: ip igmp join-group
225.25.25.25 under e0 of R3, then I can ping it from
r1 and R2.
And also I don't need to config ip pim sparse-mode
under e0 of R3.
I want to know if auto-rp can work with sparse-mode
and if I need to config ip pim sparse-mode under the
interface where I type ip igmp join-group?
Thanks for any comment.
