Would these images be larger than 12 Megabytes ?
A 2500 router will detect an (unsupported) MIX of a 8 Mbyte module + a 4
MByte module as full 16 Mbyte at bootup.
I had this once, and every image bigger than 12 Mbyte would fail to load.
You can try "show flash chips" to see what kind of flash is installed.
Kind regards,
Koen Peetermans.

Subject: 2503 flash upgrade problem
I have a 2503 with new flash memory. At first it kept coming up as 2
seperate 8 M banks of flash. after removing one partition, I now have
one partition of 16 M But every image i try to load on the router keeps
coming up with an invalid check sum value at the end of the load, any
help would be appreciated.Thanks
