Hi,
Unfortunately the PIX 520 has been end of software support since Jun 23.
If you look at the past, cisco has not included an "end-of-software support"
products in a new release. This is not yet the case for the old model PIX
515.
I don't think it is a hardware limitation, but a commercial decision.
You can contact your cisco account manager for more information.
