Hello,

If asked to configure router-on-a-stick with dot1q encapsulation. Do I
need to define the native vlan ?

InternetworkExpert says: " Don't forget to add the native keyword on the
appropriate VLAN. Otherwise, the router will not recognoze the traffic since
it is not encapsulated with a vlan header as expected ".

My question: If you were asked to do so but was not provided by which one of
the VLANs is the native one. Should I assume one of them as the native or I
don't assign any native VLANs ??

Regards,
Yasser
