Richard,

        There are two ways to do this.

1. Use a default CHAP password on the hub

        In order to accomplish this, the hub must not challenge the
remote devices. A default password can only be used to respond to a
chap challenge, and not to initiate one. In short just remove the "ppp
authentication chap" command from the hub, and add the "ppp chap
password ..." command.

2. Configure all the remote ends to send the same username
