Tom,
Normally, In this scenario I redistribute without the Route-map, because
when R2 Tx the routes to R1, R1 has split-horizon enable...So it doesn´t Tx
the same routes to R2. It is the same case of R3.
I think it is necesary is you disable split-horizon!!!
It is the same situation when you redistribute:
OSPF into EIGRP-------Split-horizon
RIP into EIGRP-----------Split-horizon
ISIS into EIGRP----------Split-horizon
EIGRP into OSPF-------OSPF doesn´t redistribute routes with the local
router-id Originator
EIGRP into RIP-----------Split-horizon
EIGRP into ISIS-----------Don´t change the distance of local EIGRP
routes!!!, Be carefull with the EIGRP external routes because it has a
distance of 170, and ISIS 115.....So, change the distance of EIGRP Ext
Routes to 114.
RIP-OSPF----------------OSPF doesn´t redistribute routes with the local
router-id Originator
OSPF-RIP----------------Split-horizon
ISIS--OSPF---------------OSPF doesn´t redistribute routes with the local
router-id Originator
OSPF-ISIS----------------Don´t change the distance of OSPF.
ISIS-RIP--------------------Split-horizon
RIP-ISIS--------------------You need to increment the distance of ISIS,
maybe 121 in order to avoid a loop.
Scenario
Redistribution Point
R1------------------------------R2----------------------------------R3
Maybe, somebody has another explanation if I am wrong!!!
Rgds,
Sergio
