I must respectfully disagree. Here are some of my notes regarding this:
Using ISDN for Backup
-Note that Dialer Watch will trigger a call when the watched route isn't in
the route table.
-Backup int by itself won't trigger a call once the primary int goes down.
It just takes the isdn int out of standby mode. The call must still be
initiated by either "interesting traffic" or dialer persistence.
-If backup int is being used to backup a F/R multipoint int, the backup won'
t kick in unless all vc's are down. Therefore, if this method is required,
it probably means the primary int s/b a p2p sub-int.
