Sergio,
I get the same result regarding the extended ping. What I have found is
that it is VERY picky about how you spell and space the interface name.
Ethernet1/0 works for me, but Ethernet 1/0 does not, neither does E1/0. Try
spelling it exactly as it is spelled when you do show ip int brief.
go figure
