Hi Peng,
You are correct. If you are using CHAP, then it won't actually send the
password across the line.
However... your sentence is a little strange. 'Doesn't send the whole
password'? Does that mean it should send a partial password? CHAP won't
do that.
What was the exact wording for the question, and what was the given answer?
