When you enable Auto-MDIX on an interface, you must also set the speed and duplex on the interface to auto so that the feature operates correctly.

Subject: MDIX auto
Hi group,
I can configure the 3750 in MDIX auto mode in interface, but I cannot use a
cross-over cable connect to a notebook, I verified the cable and network
ports are OK, did my 3750 really supports MDIX auto? I cannot see it
mentions that it can support in the "show interface capability" command?
Thanks,
BBD
