In addition, its just a bit over two months before the lab loses its virginity to 12.2T. Brian's (InternetworkExpert's) workbook already accounts for this, so you don't have to worry about purchasing new labs or upgrading to have current prep materials for the new version of the lab.
Although I've only seen the sample lab and one I beta tested for him, I think both of those labs are great!

Just because a feature may or may not appear on your lab does
not mean that it is useless to learn it. IEWB-RS was designed to help
you study for the CCIE lab, but more importantly to become a better
engineer. After all isn't that the point of obtaining this certification
in the first place?
