Dear All
Can u plese tell me how can create multi sub interfaces in the catalyst
3550 with ip addresses

I tried to do tht but they give this massage

FIS_SW(config-subif)#ip add
FIS_SW(config-subif)#ip address ?
  A.B.C.D IP address

FIS_SW(config-subif)#ip address 1.1.1.2 255.255.255.0

Configuring IP routing on a LAN subinterface is only allowed if that
subinterface is already configured as part of an IEEE 802.10, IEEE 802.1Q,
or IS
L vLAN.
