I think this summarizes the perception dilemma:
"If these 'unknowns' deal with security related issues that can be dealt
with through creativity, problem solving skills or brute intellect then this
seems fair. This being said, I still expect Cisco to advertise reliable and
specific test preparation material covering hardware and technology. "
Cisco does NOT market test preparation materials for the CCIE. The closest
you'll see is when Cisco employees work on books marketed through Cisco
Press. But in reading the fine print of things, you'll find that it is not
a Cisco "blessed" preparation tool for the CCIE exam.
