LACP is the standardized version and PagP is Cisco Etherchannel. I dunno
maybe PagP made it into a standards body too, but it hadn't the last time I
had to etherchannel (cisco term) an enterasys and a Cisco. Auto is the Cisco
PagP equiv of LACP passive and desirable is the LACP equiv of active.
On the 6500 with 12.2? maybe others... you can select which you want to use
using the
channel-protocol (LACP|PagP) command
The default is pagp.
