Hi Bob,
Would you kindly advice how to verify the following:
A) The mapping agent can receive the dense-mode traffic from the RP on group
224.0.1.39 ?
B) All routers can receive the dense-mode group 224.0.1.40 from the mapping
agent ?
I know how to config Multicast but frequently have hard time troubleshooting
it when it is not working.

You can use sparse-dense mode on an NBMA network with Auto-RP, though it
does present some challenges. Generally, you will want to put the mapping
agent at the hub.
There are two basic challenges, though. You must make sure that the mapping
agent can receive the dense-mode traffic from the RP on group 224.0.1.39.
You must also make sure that all of the routers can receive the dense-mode
group 224.0.1.40 from the mapping agent.
Starting in IOS 12.2(7) the global command:
ip pim auto-rp listener
permits you to run auto-rp over interfaces that are only configured for
sparse mode. It allows only the auto-rp groups 224.0.1.39 and 224.0.1.40 to
use dense mode.
