Your problem has nothing to do with the example in the book. You aren't
getting that far. You aren't even seeing spid1 sent. You need to check with
support for your ISDN simulator and make sure you have the spids configured
correctly. If they were getting sent, but where wrong, then you would see
something that says spid1 sent, spid1 not valid. You can also try the
command clear int bri X/X where that is your interface. Looks to me like you
need to re-initialize your communications with the ISDN switch. You should
also keep in mind that not all ISDN switches even use spids (although your
type does). Check your syntax with your spids and try doing either clear int
bri X/X or shut no shut for the bri interface and see if you can get your
spids send. If that doesn't work, reload.

I keep getting an error that states that my SPIDs are not valid,
however I am using the spids that come wtih my simulator (11110101 and
22220101). I added these spids based upon other basic configs that I
could find, yet the example in KAslow's book don't have SPIDs.
