Deal All,
I got this reply from the Embassy Suites contact center and thought maybe
it would be useful for those willing to take the exam at San Jose.
Here comes their answers:
1. All Embassy Suites offer a full breakfast.
2. Breakfast...M-F............600AM-930AM
Breakfast...S-S...........700AM-1030AM
3. Both have Internet access and both charge, it's 9.95 US Dollars, from
12:00am-12:00pm.
4. Santa Clara-Silicon Valley -offers a hotel shuttle to/from San Jose
Airport.
Milpitas-Silicon Valley, CA-does not offer a shuttle service, it will by
taxi or Airport super shuttle.
5. Milpitas-Silicon Valley is 10 minutes from the company.
Santa Clara-Silicon Valley is 20 minutes from the company.

I stayed at the Embassy Suites Milpitas for both of my attempts.
It only took about 15 minutes to get to Cisco - even during the morning
commute.
Not sure about a shuttle as I decided to rent a car. I did not want to
depend on a shuttle or taxi to get to the lab.
The breakfast is free and starts at 6 am
They do have high speed Internet access avaialable but make sure you request
it as some rooms do not include it.
I like the Embassy Suites because the rooms are good sized with a separate
bedroom and living room area. Plenty of space to relax and review notes on
your final day. The breakfast was also key. I did not want to go to a
restaurant on the morning of the lab because I prefer to minimize any
potential "unknown" factors like speed of restaurant service or arrival of
taxi cabs.
Good luck.
