I don't think of it as a "bug" particular to a particular IOS version, but
if you have a loopback or Ethernet LAN in IS-IS, for example, and you want
to redistribute it into OSPF on the same router, you will need to
redistribute the loopback separately into OSPF (or RIP, or whatever) as a
connected network. This has been discussed a lot on this list, so you can
easily find a better answer than this with a search of recent posts.
