Hi Dan,
You are right , on 3550s you can see the available MIBs with "sh snmp
MIB" , but it is difficult to make out what each one means or capable of
doing ?
Check the attached URL which again high lights the "supported MIBs" on
3550s with reasonable amount of clarity.
But again , I could not locate a document which you want ( with
explanations on each MIB) on CCO & Doco CD. However I remember seeing
some time back such a file on other N/W Management systems such as HP
Open View. But that would be a generic Doco and may not be specific to
3550s.

If you want to get your hands on all "Cisco MIBs", let me know. I can
send you that file ( zip size of 2MB)
Regards
Devi.

Hello all,
On the lab, where can I find the mib list on the documentation CD?
i know that on the 3550 I can use "show snmp mib". But I need the
meaning
of each entry.
Thanks,
Dan
