Richard, take the first example in the table:
Codecbandwidth = 8000 bps
Voice payload = 120 bytes
Overhead = 6 bytes
Then required_bandwidth = codec_bandwidth x (1 + overhead /
payload_size)=8000bps * (1 + 6/120)=8400
In the case of overhead 8 bytes then required_bandwidth=8000bps * (1 +
8/120)= 8533,33
