You got it again Bill!

Although I only intended for there to be one command out of the
ordinary, there seemed to be a bunch... however, Bill's #7 is correct...

You don't know how many times I've typed "no auto" by default into my
OSPF process to disable auto-summary (which doesn't exist in OSPF) and
realized later I just enabled "no auto-cost"!!

There's your second gotcha for the day. I think I've messed enough up
today to cool it with the "question of the day's" for today!!

Subject: RE: Another Quiz [bcc][faked-from]

1) None of the IP addresses are valid since they are all 'network'
addresses and not host addresses.

2) The OSPF process is not going to advertise the correct subnets (if
the interfaces were configured as host addresses). OSPF will advertise
the 10.0.X.X addresses while all of the interfaces are in 10.10.X.X.

3) There really is no need to place 'ip ospf network broadcast' under
the Ethernet since that is the default network type.

4) There is no need to place 'ip ospf network point-to-point' under the
Serial 1 interface since that is the default network type.

5) There isn't a need to place the 'ip ospf network point-to-multipoint'
under the Serial interface unless you want the 32-bit host route to be
advertised.

6) If the interfaces and OSPF were configured correctly OSPF would not
form neighbors out of the Ethernet 0 and Serial 0 interfaces due to the
'passive-interface' commands.

7) There is not a 'no auto-summary' command under the OSPF process. The
command you have there would be taken by OSPF as 'no auto-cost'.
