Hi guys,
Assume that in the lab, you're configuring the rtr's on both sides of a F/R
pvc link.
You're given various parameters related to FRTS to configure on one particular
router on one side of the link.
You are also told that you should config the rtr such that it responds to
BECN's. OK, no problem, you just add the command,
frame-relay adaptive-shaping becn to the map-class frame-relay class <name>.
Are you done at this point and if you've configured everything correctly so
far, will you get full credit?
Or, to finish this task, do you have to also configure on the other side of
the pvc link, the command,
frame-relay fecn-adapt?
Or, stated another way, if one side of a link must adapt to becn's does the
other side of the link have to be configured to "reflect fecn's back as
becn's"?
Why? Could someone explain?
Thanks, Tim
