You want a clear explanation? You probably want some good examples also,
don't you? And, you probably don't think you're asking for too much either.
If you find them on Cisco, let me know. Everything I've seen so far on
SNMPv3 on Cisco had been about as clear as thick MUD.
However, I did find that the chapter in the O'Reilly book, Cisco Cookbook,
on SNMP pretty good. You might want to check that out. You also might want
to find the recent posts on GS from Scott Morris on SNMP & Rmon. He posted
some very useful info on this topic.
