Dear Tim,

It is true that NMC labs had typos and errors. However, I am sure every workbook in the current market will have these problems. When I was working with my first workbook, it also has a lot of typos and errors. When I was reading ciscopress books and DocCD, they also have typos, errors and inconsistent. I am sure that NMC is keeping update their workbook promptly, and you can always find the most updated information in their website/forum. Which important is the Custom Server Support. If you ask people who posted questions in NMC forum and how long they will get their answers, most of them will tell you that NMC never let them disappointed.

I think a workbook should be a study material. Never force yourself to finish the lab in 8 hours. Never feel discourage when you can't finish the lab in time. What you have to learn from the workbook is that what are the issues the workbook is try to teach you? Make sure you understand the reasons behind instead of just know how to configure.

If you think that the routing and redistribution part of DoIT is difficult, I can tell you that never expect the real lab will be easier than DoIT. The real lab may not have complex redistribution scenarios like DoIT, but there are tricky issues in the real lab. In fact, most people will not read the question carefully during the real lab. The question maybe inter-realted and that will make the problem complex.

Finally, I am happy to tell you that I passed the lab exam yesterday. After the second attemp failure, I spent most of my time in doing the DoIT lab ONCE AGAIN, very carefully and study every parts of the lab throughly. Just before my exam, I did two CheckIT labs, and those labs are really push me to the top. Thanks NMC for these great products. Thanks people from NMC who answered tons of my questions in the forum. Alexei. Adel, Indy ..., your guys are the best.

Best Regards,
William Chen
