Nathasha,
There's more to upgrading IOS than just 'installing the newest
one'. You're going to want to go to
http://www.cisco.com/kobayashi/support/tac/tools_az.shtml and use the
Software Advisor. You need to find an image that is compatible with all
your modules and the network processor itself. And then you need to
find one that has all the features you need. Once you've got the list
of what will work, you can then search the release notes and find a
hopefully GD image that doesn't have any bugs that'll affect what you're
trying to do.
Unless this is just for a home lab! In that case, a 12.3 image
compatible with your hardware should work. HTH.

Subject: 7204(NPE200)
Hi,
We have multiple Cisco 7204(NPE200) routers with 64M memory, all these
routers are running 12.0(2)XE2.
Can I upgrade from this version directly to 12.3(provided that I
increase the D memory in the router from 64M to 128M? and flash from 4
to 48M).
Are there any security patches which I need to load besides upgrading
the software?
Thank you.
Nathasha
