Disclaimer: I do work with various commercial study products.
There's no one workbook that's best for everyone, because everyone
has different learning methods, and each workbook tends to have a
particular style.
I'd encourage you, and others, to think about how you learn best.
Here are just a few questions.
1. Do you want 8-hour exercises without any hints or help, intended
simply to drill you through the pressure and time management of the
labs?
2. Can you discipline yourself enough not to look at answers on another
page when you do this?
3. What kind of explanations do you want of the scenario author's thinking?
4. For you, what is the role of scenarios that aren't 8-hour, but focus
on one technology or a group of related technologies, building your
speed and showing you how a change in options changes behavior?
5. Do you need practice in spotting errors and troubleshooting them?
6. As distinct from troubleshooting, do you need practice in figuring
out what technology the question is looking for?
Again, this is just a start. I'd encourage others to add their
questions and answers. I'd also encourage authors to discuss some of
their philosophies with respect to writing content -- which of these
goals do you emphasize?
