the 49 is already in HEX
so your system ID's should be in the format 49.0125.xxxx.xxxx.xxxx.00
the "49" bit is kind of like the OSI equivalent to private addressing
192.168/16 etc so 49 is quite common to see in pre-configured OSI
equipement.
