Thanks for your response.

So, OK, cos can't be set on frames going out of a regular, but what about
COMING IN to a regular access port.

We know that cos CAN be set when the port is a 802.1q trunk carrying both a
voice vlan and a data vlan, but what if the port is just a regular access
port?

And, if so, where is that carried in the frame since regular ethernet frames
can't carry QoS data?
