RE: Redirect HTTP Traffic through router/pix

Not on the PIX - there's no way that I know of to have a packet redirected onto
the same interface using the PIX.

Maybe try Nat-on-a-stick for IOS? I think you could make that work, but it's a
bit convoluted.

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately I don't think either of these will work
because I do not want the traffic to actually pass through the pix. I want
traffic to hit the outside interface and then be forwarded to a different IP
address on the outside interface (actually another server via the Internet).

Any ideas?

Thanks!
Ken

Yes, see 'port redirection' on PIX
        http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/707/28.html#topic9

Or 'Port Static NAT' in IOS

        Hey all!

Is it possible to redirect incoming requests at port 80 (http) to
another public
IP address through either a router or a pix? I know this can be done
with HTTP
coding, but can the router/pix intercept and redirect this?

        Thanks!
