Grab an ATM switch. More than likely a lightstream 1010 will be the ticket! You will need it to practice your VoATM, PVCs,SVCs, and other MISC configuration. You will need an ATM cloud. Or you could just rent the rack time online...I saw a 1010 on ebay pretty cheap... :)
You can do ATM back-to-back by setting the clock on one side, but this will be of limited use...maybe not, someone else may want to
chime in. At least if you do like I did and grab a 1010, you get the fun of configuring it yourself -and it looks
cool to your buddies on your rack -hee hee hee hee :)

Subject: EXAM IOS
Hi everyone,
I'm racking and configuring routers/switches to prepare for my lab studying.
What is the exact IOS that I should be using to mimic what I'll see during the Exam. I know there is an IOS change beginning in August, but I'm taking the exam in July at RTP.
Some literature recommends ENT+ 12.2(15)T7. This is no longer available that I can see....
If I use ENT+ 12.2.23a or something newer than that, is that acceptable and/or recommended?
Also, I have ATM ports in my routers, but no ATM switch......will I be able to do lab scenarios by back-to-backing them, or would you recommend getting an ATM switch...and if so, which one?
Thanks.
