You're right about attending bootcamps playing a big part in passing. Not
only do they offer much needed hands-on intense study - They also give you the
chance to mix with other people who maybe have taken and failed the lab who
can give you 'insider' knowlege on what to expect - and yes - break the NDA
while doing so !!! This information can prove vital in the run-up to your own
exam and help in focusing your study to more 'pertinent' areas.
I know how everyone feels about the NDA - but I bet theres not many IE's who
haven't broken it........
