I've started practicing using telnet from the Windows 2K command line in
preparation for a lab attempt in Mid April and have had the following occur
on several occassions and am looking for a way to fix it if possible.
- While I have an active telnet session open directly to the reverse telnet
port of one of my routers, if I do a cntrl-shift-6 I lose access to my
session.
- The window still shows console messages of the session but I am unable to
gain control of the prompt.
- I am forced to close the window and launch a new session (which is a real
pain) or clear the line on the terminal server which will abort the session
so I can at least use the same window to reestablish connectivity
- I do not have this problem when using TeraTerm - only the Windows command
prompt telnet.
Anyone else experience this and know how to get control back - or
preferably, avoid the problem all together?
