Hoping Third Time is A Charm

I finished my third attempt ysterday in San Jose, still awaiting the
results. This was probably the first time I was really ready, I had put in
quite a few hours of practice on so many different things.

I had hit two snags during the morning, one was something that I was certain
was configured correctly and the otherw as an area I really hadn't worked
with before and had to rely on the DocCD. I started to get a panicked
feeling thinking I was headed for another mess. Rather than let it distract
me I went ahead and configured most of the rest of the exam---I didnt want
to lose time I would regret later.

On the first issue it turned out I had made one typo and when I fixed that
the rest of the things I configured last came up all at once (a VERY nice
feeling). Shortly after that I figured out something from the instructions
and was able to get that working. Before 2:00 I was done, and then began
working back through the lab piece by piece. I had also made notes along
the way of things I hadnt been certain of, and firmed up almost all of them
during my time of checking things over. There were about 2 questions or so
I am certain I didnt get but felt good overall.

I am sincerely hoping this is it! I know I was with three other candidates,
two also on the third try and another fellow that was working on another
attempt, he wasnt sure how many.

Here's hoping I have made my last CCIE lab "pilgrimage" and that the "router
gods" have seen fit to pass me.

:)
