Hi all,
When I do a "show ip pim rp mapping", I get a list of mcast groups, the
addresses of the RP for those groups & how the RP addresses were learned,
Auto-RP, static config or BSR.
When I do a "show ip pim rp metric", on the same router, I get nothing.
To me this doesn't seem right.
If a PIM router has entries in it's rp to mgroup cache and you can see that
when the first show command above is run, shouldn't the second (using the
metric option) also show results?
Can somebody explain why this isn't working or if I'm misunderstanding how
the second command should be used.
