Thanks for the response.

So far, I don't have any 2600's to practice on - only 2500's but even if I
did have some 2600's, how would I know which release of IOS to run on them?

Maybe it's just me, but I think Cisco could and should be more explicit
about what releases and what new features are fair game.

Or, maybe I shouldn't even concern myself with that and just focus on what I
know is fair game.
