Extended ping

Dear group;

While I am testing the 64K leased line with extended Ping, I aware the
following:

-- With data pattern 0xaaaa
r16wan02ephk#sh int ser 0
Serial0 is up, line protocol is up
 .......
  30 second input rate 63000 bits/sec, 6 packets/sec
  30 second output rate 61000 bits/sec, 6 packets/sec
 .....

-- With data pattern 0x7777
r16wan02ephk#sh int ser 0
Serial0 is up, line protocol is up
 .......
  30 second input rate 62000 bits/sec, 6 packets/sec
  30 second output rate 62000 bits/sec, 6 packets/sec
 .......

-- With data pattern 0xffff
r16wan02ephk#sh int ser 0
Serial0 is up, line protocol is up
 .......
  30 second input rate 52000 bits/sec, 6 packets/sec
  30 second output rate 51000 bits/sec, 6 packets/sec
 .......

No matter how many times I try, with data pattern 0xffff, I can get only
52Kbits/sec; but I can get more than 60Kbits/sec for all other patterns
combination; is there any problem for this leased line? or it's normal
behaviour?

Also, Can anybody tell me how can I verify (by what command?) whether the
line is actually running 64K? (Other than read from the CSU/DSU or
checking)

Thanks,
BBD
