That4s my .02 suggestion:
1. Remember u will be connecting two DTE devices so a null cable modem is
required.
2. Use a rollover serial cable ( console cable ) to interconnect the aux
ports...
3. Repeat the same config in both routers...
Check which async interface corresponds to the aux port using the show line
command...
Int async1
ip addr x.x.x.x y.y.y.y
encap ppp
async dynamic routing
async mode dedicated
line aux 0
modem InOut
transport input all
rxspeed 19200
txspeed 19200
flowcontrol hardware
Issue the command show line aux 0 and check for DTR, CTS, RTS and CD are
up...
Use debug ppp negotiation and debug ppp error commands to check if everyting
is OK....
