Hi,

Scenario details:

This is setup for Digital video broadcast..The WAN switches are connected to
each other using satellite..These WAN switches have DVB interfaces like ASI or
HSSI.we want to convert this DVB in to LAN interface. We can go for proper DVB
to LAN converter it costs us too much.Thatswhy we want to have a router based
solution..

we are using video modulator/demodulator called as SDM-2020M.datasheets on
following link:
http://206.223.8.10/linksite/manuals/datasheets/sdm2020m.pdf

Pls see above link to verify whether STM link is supported in it..

1. cant we get combined Bandwidth of 3 numbers of NM-1HSS1 or NM-1T3/E3 using
3700 router..

2. cant we get combined Bandwidth of 3 numbers of PA-T3+ or or PA-2H= using
7200 routers..

3. is STM the only option?

4. if we can use 3 HSSI can we bundle the 3 HSSi ports as 1 logical
interface?can we bundle 3 T3 or E3 ports as 1 logical interface?

5. What more inputs do you require of the WAN switch?

6. What care we have to take while configuring routers with this WAN switch?

Regards,
Sunny
