Here is the link to path selection in BGP

Perhaps you are confusing the IGP-EGP-INCOMPLETE with the IBGP-EBGP
decisions?

Subject: BGP Route Selection:
One of the path selections of BGP is
IGP>EBGP>?
I have never seen any good example on this scenerio. is it IGP learned
route that has preference over EBGP route. To me, EBGP has the lower Admin
Distance compare to any IGP routing protocol except static and directly
connected routes. How can it be possible than router to precedence IGP
route over EBGP route.
Any good example if somebody knows then please share.
Regards,
Ahmed
